Hampden Highlights is a festival with a purpose - to raise money for non-profits that create a lasting impact in our community.
THE 2026 Hampden Highlights Nonprofit Beneficiaries
Every dollar raised at Hampden Highlights goes back to the community we love.
Hampden Highlights Festival is more than a great day on The Avenue — it's a chance to invest in the organizations doing meaningful work right here in our neighborhood and across our city. This year, proceeds from the festival will benefit three incredible nonprofits: St. Luke's Church on The Avenue, We Are CASA Maryland, and Trans Maryland. When you shop, eat, dance, and celebrate with us on June 6th, you're helping fund the programs and people that make Baltimore stronger.
We are CASA Maryland
We Are CASA (formerly CASA de Maryland) is a Latino and immigrant-led organization dedicated to building power and improving quality of life in low-income immigrant communities. CASA offers health assistance, English classes, financial literacy, vocational training, leadership development, legal services, and employment placement for low-income families, particularly Latino immigrants and other immigrants. Now in a bold new chapter, We Are CASA is embracing a renewed identity rooted in reinvestment, reinvention, and collective power — building grassroots community defender networks and amplifying immigrant voices across Maryland and beyond.
Trans Maryland
Trans Maryland is a multi-racial, multi-gender, trans-led community power-building organization serving transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive people across Maryland. The organization provides name- and gender-marker change assistance, peer support groups, community research and training, and state-level advocacy to expand access to gender-affirming care and legal recognition. In 2024, Trans Maryland organized Document Assistance Clinics across the state, released findings from a landmark statewide survey of trans Marylanders, and successfully advocated in the Legislature to protect the rights of transgender youth. Trans Maryland is fighting every day for a Maryland where every trans person can live safely and fully.
St. Luke's Church on The Avenue
St. Luke's Church on The Avenue is a radically inclusive faith community right in the heart of Hampden. Located at 800 W. 36th Street, St. Luke's is committed to loving God and loving their neighbor, embracing a simple mission: Love. Beyond Sunday worship, St. Luke's runs a robust set of community programs including the Lost & Found Thrift Shop — which promotes sustainable practices and connects neighbors in need with dignified, affordable shopping — and the Avenue Drop-In, where harm reduction services are offered every Friday to support individuals in active drug use. St. Luke's is more than a church — it's a cornerstone of the Hampden community.
